First up, Audrey's attire. Her mother (Connie) made her wedding gown. Yes, I just said that, and yes, she did. Can you believe it? The beading on the bodice was taken from segments of what was supposed to be the original wedding dress (that's a story for another day!). Audrey & her mother worked together closely for many, many months to design and build the perfect wedding dress. And that's exactly what it was- perfect.
The bridesmaid ensembles were both festive & elegant. The dark green gowns fit every bridesmaid beautifully, and the touch of silky fur only enhanced the overall beauty of the carefully selected look.
Audrey got ready at her home, and did her own hair and make up. Are you starting to see that this family has some pretty sweet skills & talents? They definitely do!
The bridal party carried lanterns instead of bouquets, and Audrey walked down the aisle to "The Little Drummer Boy." Audrey's mother also made the beautiful flower girl dresses. Everything was perfect for a winter wedding taking place just days before Christmas.
Finally, the reception. Audrey, of course, did everything herself. See for yourself if the work paid off...
