This is a wall display Joey and I put up and are quite proud of! We've been doing some "apartment improvements" lately and I thought I'd share a few of them. We aren't planning on living here for a long time, so we aren't going crazy, but it's amazing what a difference a small amount of work & supplies will do!
We refinished this (ugly) 70s-style lamp with only some sandpaper, yellow spray paint, and a new lampshade... not quite so ugly anymore! We redid 2 of them, but only use 1, so if anyone is interested in the extra, send me a message and it's yours!
We updated the kitchen floor by putting in new laminate over the faded yellow-ish stuff...
And we refinished our tabletop with some sandpaper and clear finish. It used to flake brown paint every time something touched it (I can't tell you how many times it ended up in our food)- not anymore!
